In the Philippines, we have gotten so used to experiencing typhoons that we’ve learned to just settle and deal with the aftermath. Every year, millions of people are affected by disasters yet we still ignore ways to prepare for it. It’s time to change that.

We’ve played victim to disaster for far too long. It’s time for us to be the heroes in our story. #IAmSuper

We live our lives each day not knowing how many people strive to survive climate change and natural disasters around us.

I am Super is aimed to better equip the nation for disaster resilience and to help out young people and communities, who have been affected, who are being affected, and who will be affected by natural and man-made calamities.

We seek to sustain the livelihood of Typhoon Yolanda survivors, provide assistance to the evacuees of the Marawi siege and, ultimately, arm young people in the most vulnerable schools with emergency Go Bags and disaster preparedness knowledge.

We are inviting you to help us accomplish our goal of grasping onto the future of this country’s greatest resource – our children and the youth – amidst the consequences of climate change and disasters.

You can be your own hero today.
