YesPinoy and Smile Train celebrated the 30,000th surgery in the Philippines. In the morning of August 21, 2014, YesPinoy Chairman Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera visited San Fernandino Hospital in San Fernando, Pampanga to meet the children who are beneficiaries of Smile Train Philippines.
Together with Doctors Edmund and Jenny Mercado, PCMC Head Doctor Therese Leopando, YesPinoy Executive Director Xavier Padilla and Smile Train Country Manager Kimmy Flaviano, they celebrated via a children’s party the landmark accomplishment of Smile Train. This is an advocacy close to the hearts of Dingdong and Marian, and they were happy to hear about all the opportunities to help these children in need.
