YesPinoy celebrated 5 years of YES: programs for Young people, fighting for the cause of Education and Serving the country especially in times of need.
The anniversary was held in Angeles University Foundation and was co-sponsored by GMA Network. More than 2,000 young people attended and participated in the afternoon full of learning, fun and surprises.
Mike Enriquez gave a talk on New Media and how values is at the bedrock of any media personality or advocate. Ivan Mayrina followed that up with tips on Responsible Social Media use. Questions were raised by the students on both topics.
Gabby Eigenmann entertained the whole arena with his song number, and then the YesPinoy panel started.

They spoke on their advocacies which ranged from finances to education to health to active lifestyle, and they all challenged the young to go out there and be involved.
The day ended with the launch of Project 888. YesPinoy is going to 8 areas (started with the anniversary in Pampanga) within 8 months to find 8 scholars. More information to follow.
